Three Books, Three Thrillers

I have been absent for a long time, and I apologize for that. First, I’ve fully retired after 49 years in education and I’m still adjusting to all the “spare” time in my life. Honestly, I haven’t found the “spare” time yet. I’ve been so busy.

I’ve been babysitting one or both of my grandchildren, Mason, age three, and/or Olivia, nine months. It is the best job in the world! I honestly wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Second, I’ve been working feverishly on my eleventh book, and I am deciding whether to go with the original title, The Disappeared or to change it to They Disappeared. We’ll see as I get closer to the finish.

Last, I’ve been promoting several of my books: Caught in a Web, Fan Mail, and Blaze In, Blaze Out. While I hate to distract myself from writing my new book, I am finding these promotions creative and fun. So, I’m doing both at the same time.

And in my “spare” time, I’m reading and reviewing drafts of new books from several of my favorite authors. They will take up a new post entry as I complete them.

So, on to these three promotions. I hope you enjoy them.

“Just out of sight from the kitchen, George squatted down and like any of the traditional Dine’, he asked any chindi for forgiveness and for permission to walk the house for the purpose of trying to find out what had happened.”

I wrote a book where the hero takes a bullet for his brothers and then has to figure out if his father ever loved him at all.

“No matter what I do or what I’ve done to help this family, it’s not good enough.”

A conviction should have been the end. Instead, it was the starting gun.

Someone trusted with justice made a choice, and two detectives became targets.
